This Policy applies to all bots and services developed and operated by JMU Solutions LLC ("Studio Bots") and also clarifies our role when building bots for clients ("Client Bots").
1. Scope of Application
• For Studio Bots, JMU Solutions LLC acts as both developer and operator. We collect and control data necessary to deliver services.
• For Client Bots, JMU Solutions LLC acts as the developer. Upon delivery, ownership and data control transfer to the client. If the client opts for hosting through JMU Solutions LLC, we act solely as a data processor under the client's instructions, and the client remains the data controller responsible for compliance with applicable privacy laws.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect and store the following types of data:
• Discord user ID, username, and channel/server IDs
• Invoice-related information (e.g., email address, order metadata)
• Support ticket activity or messages voluntarily submitted
• IP address (solely for tax calculation when paying invoices via Stripe)
3. Use of Information
We use your information to:
• Deliver requested services and maintain bot functionality
• Issue invoices and process payments through Stripe
• Determine applicable tax rates based on your location (IP address collected only for this purpose)
• Communicate with you regarding orders or support
• Ensure system security and integrity
4. Data Storage
Data is stored securely on servers maintained by JMU Solutions LLC. We also utilize trusted third-party providers such as Stripe (for billing/tax) and Cloudflare (for routing/protection). We do not store personal data on our public-facing website.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill orders, comply with legal obligations (including tax regulations), or resolve disputes.
5a. Hosting & Data Processing for Client Bots
If a client chooses to host their bot with JMU Solutions LLC, we process and store data on behalf of the client solely to provide hosting services. In these cases:
• The client remains the data controller and is responsible for establishing lawful bases for processing.
• JMU Solutions LLC acts as a data processor and processes data only under documented instructions from the client.
• We do not use or disclose client-hosted data for any purpose other than hosting, maintenance, and security.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting hello@jmusolutionsllc.com. We respond to valid requests within seven (7) days.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
